  • Kofi Owusu Dua Anto a.k.a KODA: The popular gospel artiste and producer succumbed to a short illness on April 21st, passing away at the age of 45.  

  • Vicent McCauley: The celebrated Ghanaian actor, known for his role as Max in the “Things We Do for Love” television series, passed away on January 15th.

  • Osman Idris a.k.a Yoghurt: The renowned “Junka Town” actor died on June 11th, 2024, at the Great Faith Family Clinic in Effiakuma.
  • Bright Owusu a.k.a C Confion: The rising comic actor passed away on December 20th, 2024, after battling a critical illness. He gained popularity for his roles in Dr. Likee’s comedy skits.


  • Mercy Little Smith: Widely known for her role as “Benyiwaa” in the renowned TV series “Efiewura,” Mercy Little Smith departed this life on December 18th, 2024.

  • Albert Jackson-Davis: The veteran actor, known for playing various roles in movies, passed away on September 14th, 2024.

  • Naa Amanua Dodoo: A prominent Ghanaian singer and songwriter of Ga folk music and a member of the Wulomei traditional band, Naa Amanua Dodoo passed away on December 16th, 2024.
  • Clement Ike Quartey Snr: The boxing legend, who held the WBA welterweight title for four consecutive years (1994-1998), passed away on November 2nd, 2024.

  • Hans Kwofie: The 35-year-old footballer, known for his contributions to teams like Medeama, Aduana FC, and Legon Cities, tragically passed away in a car accident while traveling to his hometown, Dompim Pepesa.
  • John Kumah: The Deputy Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu, John Kumah, died on March 7th, 2024, at the age of 45, after a short illness.
