Azumah Resources Ghana Limited said that the Black Volta Gold Project has not been sold to any company, including Engineers & Planners Company Limited (E&P), as widely circulated.
According to them, any news purporting the sale is “false and unauthorised”.
“Azumah Resources Ghana Limited wishes to formally distance itself from the document currently circulating in the media, purported to be an invitation to a ”Facility Agreement Signing Ceremony - E&P Acquisition of the Black Volta Gold Project." A statement sighted by Peacefmonline.com read.
The statement further strongly denied any intention to sell the gold project “We categorically state that Azumah Resources Ghana Limited has neither sold nor is in the process of selling the Black Volta Gold Project in whole or in part.”
The project, they said, is “Wholly owned by Azumah Resources”.
Engineers & Planners Company Limited is believed to have secured a contract for the Black Volta Gold Project.
